A Radar View of Titan

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

This radar image from the Cassini spacecraft shows a 75-kilometer wide section of Saturn's moon Titan. Despite our solar system's long history of impacts, Titan shows surprisingly few craters. The structures seen in this image are not yet fully understood, but they may be evidence of some kind of geological flows. Titan is unique for its thick atmosphere and liquid methane lakes.
