A Wave Maker Moon in Saturn's Rings

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Small waves in Saturn's rings, bordering the Keeler gap, were observed by the Cassini spacecraft. This digitally foreshortened image mosaic shows these unusual waves in detail. The rings, made of many small particles, were not orbiting Saturn in their usual manner. A small moon is the reason for these waves.
