Titan's Odd Spot
NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE
Titan's odd spot could be a persistent cloud. The Cassini spacecraft's VIMS instrument found this bright spot at the same location during Titan encounters in 2004 and 2005. Seen near Titan's upper edge, the spot is almost 500 kilometers wide. It is brightest at infrared wavelengths, suggesting a unique cloud within the moon's thick atmosphere.
