This stunning view shows the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas in Nepal. Dhaulagiri, the seventh-highest peak, is on the horizon to the left. In the foreground is the southern Tibetan Plateau of China. This picture was taken with a 35mm camera and telephoto lens by the Expedition 1 crew aboard the International Space Station, not from an airliner.
