What does the surface of Saturn's moon Dione look like? The Cassini spacecraft flew about 4,500 kilometers above Dione's icy surface, capturing this image. Spanning about 23 kilometers, it reveals fractures, grooves, and craters in the moon's ice and rock. Many of these features are still unexplained.
