COSMIC MESSAGE
The Sombrero Galaxy, also known as M104, has a bright nucleus and a thick dust lane. This dust lane is visible because we see the galaxy nearly edge-on. The Hubble Space Telescope captured many globular clusters, which are spherical collections of old stars, in the galaxy's central bulge.
