Possible Methane Lakes on Titan

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Radar images from the Cassini spacecraft suggest methane lakes on Saturn's moon Titan. This image shows a region near Titan's North Pole, about 200 kilometers across. The dark areas, which lack a radar return signal, appear extremely smooth, suggesting they are pools of liquid hydrocarbons with connecting tributaries.
