NGC 1333 is a reflection nebula about 1,000 light-years away in Perseus. In visible light, it appears bluish from starlight reflecting off dust. However, in infrared, the Spitzer Space Telescope reveals the dust itself glowing, unmasking young stars hidden within the clouds.
