COSMIC MESSAGE
This grid shows twenty consecutive full moons, from May 2005 through December 2006, all at the same scale. The apparent size of the Moon changes because its orbit around Earth is not perfectly circular, causing its distance from us to vary. This is a real change in size, unlike the Moon Illusion.
