COSMIC MESSAGE
Sometimes, a spectacular sky appears after your eyes adapt to the dark. This panorama, captured over one of the Chena Lakes in North Pole, Alaska, shows beautiful green aurora flapping high above. Brilliant stars shine in the distance, and for a brief moment, a bright meteor streaks by. The Pleiades open cluster of stars is visible on the right.
