COSMIC MESSAGE
The star 51 Pegasi is only 50 light-years away. In October 1995, astronomers Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz used a spectrograph at Observatoire de Haute-Provence to discover a planet orbiting 51 Pegasi. This was the first exoplanet found orbiting a sun-like star.
