The Jules Verne Automated Transfer Vehicle, named for the science fiction author, was a robotic spacecraft designed to deliver cargo to the International Space Station. It successfully docked with the ISS earlier in 2008. After its mission, the ATV undocked and deorbited, completing its extraordinary voyage. This image captures the ATV's journey.
