Unusual Auroras Over Saturn's North Pole

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Unusual auroras appear over Saturn's north pole, unlike any other seen in our solar system. Infrared images from the Cassini spacecraft show these auroras in blue, above the planet's clouds in red. The hexagon cloud pattern is visible below the aurora. These auroras can cover the entire pole, unlike Earth's.
