COSMIC MESSAGE
IC 410 is a dusty emission nebula located about 12,000 light-years away in the constellation Auriga. This cloud of glowing gas, over 100 light-years across, is shaped by the stellar winds and radiation from the embedded open star cluster NGC 1893. The bright stars of NGC 1893 formed within the interstellar cloud only about 4 million years ago. Two dense streamers of material are visible trailing away from the cluster near the 7 o'clock position.
