Mimas: Small Moon with a Big Crater

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Mimas, one of Saturn's smaller moons, features a massive impact crater named Herschel. This crater, spanning about 130 kilometers, nearly destroyed the moon. Mimas is mostly made of water ice with some rock, and its low gravity allows for such large surface features.
