NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE
Barnard 68 is a dark molecular cloud in the constellation Ophiuchus. What appear to be holes in the sky are actually regions where dust and molecular gas absorb almost all visible light from background stars. These clouds are some of the coldest and most isolated places in the universe. They are also the birthplaces of new stars.
