COSMIC MESSAGE
The volcano Anak Krakatau continues to erupt, growing from the sea at about two centimeters per day. Its more famous parent, Krakatoa, had a powerfully explosive eruption in 1883 that killed tens of thousands. The latest eruption of Anak Krakatau started in April 2008 and continues today.
