COSMIC MESSAGE
Last week, Earth's Moon and Jupiter made a beautiful pair in the night sky. This image, taken from Brittany, France, captures the conjunction through a cloud bank. The clouds reduced the Moon's brightness, allowing the Galilean moons of Jupiter to be seen. They appear as tiny pinpricks of light, lined up around the gas giant.
