Zodiacal Light Over Laguna Verde
NASA APOD · Manel Soria
COSMIC MESSAGE
This time of year, just before dawn in the northern hemisphere, an unusual triangle of light appears: the Zodiacal Light. It is light reflected from interplanetary dust particles. The image, taken from Laguna Verde in Chile, shows this bright triangle on the right, mirroring the band of our Milky Way Galaxy on the left.
