This dramatic full moon, known as a Hunter's Moon in the northern hemisphere, was captured on Halloween from Portugal. It illuminates the landscape through the night. The image is a composite of two digital photos, a short and a long exposure, to reveal details of both the bright lunar surface and the surrounding landscape.
