COSMIC MESSAGE
The Rosette Nebula, NGC 2237, is a famous flower-shaped emission nebula. Its center is populated by the bright blue stars of open cluster NGC 2244. The winds and energetic light from these stars are clearing out the nebula's core. This deep, wide-field image also shows other celestial highlights around the nebula.
