COSMIC MESSAGE

The Rosette Nebula, NGC 2237, is a famous cosmic cloud of gas and dust resembling a flower. Its symmetric shape is sculpted by the winds and radiation from a central cluster of hot, young O-type stars, NGC 2244. This stellar nursery is located about 5,000 light years away in the constellation Monoceros.
