COSMIC MESSAGE

This interstellar apparition, cataloged as NGC 7635, is known as The Bubble Nebula. It is blown by the wind from a massive star. The 10-light-year diameter bubble shows evidence of violent processes. Above and to the right of the Bubble's center is a hot, O-type star, several hundred thousand times more luminous and about 45 times more massive than the Sun.
