COSMIC MESSAGE
On March 7, the crescent Moon and Jupiter appeared close together in the evening twilight. This time exposure, a composite of 54 individual frames, shows short trails from the Moon and Jupiter as they set. The Space Shuttle Discovery, on its final flight, and the International Space Station formed a second close pairing in the night sky. This image captures both the natural and human-made celestial objects.
