This panorama sweeps across the Apollo 11 landing site on the Moon's Sea of Tranquility. It was assembled from high-resolution scans of original film frames. Neil Armstrong took these photos from the Eagle Lunar Module, with the first picture ever taken by a human on another world at the far left. Thruster nozzles are visible in the foreground, showing details of the landing site.
