COSMIC MESSAGE

Four billion miles from the Sun, Voyager 1 looked back to create this portrait of our solar system. The image is a mosaic, sweeping from the inner solar system to Neptune, then the outermost planet. It captures a rare perspective of our cosmic neighborhood. This 'pale blue dot' image was taken on Valentine's Day in 1990.
