COSMIC MESSAGE

This colorful skyscape features Sh2-155, also known as the Cave Nebula, a dusty, reddish emission region. It is located about 2,400 light-years away in the constellation Cepheus, along the plane of our Milky Way Galaxy. This region formed at the boundary of the massive Cepheus B molecular cloud and the hot, young, blue stars of the Cepheus OB 3 association.
