A Sunrise at Sunset Point

This time-lapse series captures a sunrise over Sunset Point in Bryce Canyon, Utah, during an annular solar eclipse. As the Moon passed in front of the Sun, local temperatures dropped, and the brilliant morning light became a subdued yellow. The images, taken at two-minute intervals, show the progression of the eclipse and the changing light on the reddish landscape.
