COSMIC MESSAGE

Spiral galaxy M33, also known as the Triangulum Galaxy, is about 3 million light-years distant. This telescopic portrait enhances the reddish ionized hydrogen clouds, or HII regions. These giant HII regions, sprawling along loose spiral arms, are some of the largest known stellar nurseries.
