Interstellar visitor 3I/ATLAS made a distant flyby of Earth on December 19th. This deep exposure captures the comet in Leo, showing its yellowish dust tail, bluish ion tail, and a greenish coma. Even from another star system, this comet offered a glimpse of its unique composition as it swept past.
