A Green Flash from the Sun

COSMIC MESSAGE
A green flash, a rare optical phenomenon, occurs as the Sun dips below the horizon. Just as the last sliver of the Sun disappears, a fleeting green glow can be seen. This effect is caused by the Earth's atmosphere bending sunlight, with green light being refracted more than red light. It is typically visible only from locations with a clear, distant horizon.
