COSMIC MESSAGE
What's in front of the sun? The closest object is an airplane, captured by chance just below the sun's center. Numerous clouds in Earth's atmosphere create dark horizontal streaks. Farther out, Earth's Moon appears as a large dark circular bite on the upper right. Just above the airplane, sunspots are visible on the sun's surface. The main sunspot group, AR 2192, is one of the largest ever recorded.
