COSMIC MESSAGE
The Northern Lights shimmer over Norway, gently lighting the wintery coast. This 30-second exposure also captures a fireball meteor from the Geminid shower, streaking past the Big Dipper. The meteor's trail points back toward the constellation Gemini, off the top of the view. The aurora borealis is caused by solar wind interacting with Earth's magnetic field.
