COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, not a bright comet, sweeps slowly through Earth's predawn skies. This composite of telescopic images follows its progress as it moves away from the Sun beyond Mars's orbit. Its faint but extensive coma and tails are visible against the stars near the eastern edge of Leo.
