The New World Atlas of Artificial Sky Brightness
This world map shows how artificial light affects the night sky's appearance. It uses satellite data and thousands of measurements to model sky brightness. The colors indicate different levels of light pollution compared to a natural dark sky. For example, yellow areas show where artificial brightness significantly alters the natural night sky.
