This time-lapse composite of 68 frames documents September's eclipse of the Sun. Starting at 1 p.m. local time, a frame every four minutes follows the New Moon's progress across the solar disk. The series of exposures ends with a golden sunset. Balanced rock cairns in the foreground line a beach on Reunion Island.
