Hickson Compact Group 90, or HCG 90, is a close-knit group of galaxies, as seen in this Hubble image. Two of the three interacting galaxies are visible here: a dusty spiral galaxy stretched and distorted in the center, and a large elliptical galaxy. This close encounter will trigger furious star formation.
