The Summer Triangle is an asterism formed by Vega, Deneb, and Altair. These bright stars make a large triangle in the sky. It can be seen rising in the northern spring during the morning and in the northern fall during the evening. In summer, it is nearly overhead near midnight. Here, it is seen over the Great Wall of China, with the Milky Way.
