Haumea of the Outer Solar System
NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE
Haumea is one of the strangest objects in the outer Solar System. It is the fifth designated dwarf planet, and its oblong shape makes it unusual. Haumea's orbit sometimes brings it closer to the Sun than Pluto, but usually keeps it much further away. It was recently found to have a ring.
