NASA APOD · Rolf Geissinger
COSMIC MESSAGE

The Bubble Nebula, NGC 7635, is a 10 light-year-wide bubble blown by the winds of a massive star. It sits 11,000 light-years away, straddling the constellations Cepheus and Cassiopeia. This delicate structure is part of a larger complex of interstellar gas and dust where new stars are forming.
