NGC 7331 is a spiral galaxy in Pegasus, about 50 million light-years away. It is often compared to our own Milky Way galaxy. This Hubble Space Telescope image, with its inclination, gives a strong sense of depth. It is one of the brightest galaxies not in Messier's catalog.
