COSMIC MESSAGE
The Heart Nebula, also known as IC 1805, glows in red light from hydrogen, earning its name from its shape. Inside, the open star cluster Melotte 15 consists of young, hot stars. These stars erode the surrounding dust and gas, shaping the nebula from within.
