On April 30, a Full Moon rose in the east as the Sun set in the west. This image from northeastern Alabama shows the yellowish moonrise silhouetting a tree-lined ridge. Also visible are Earth's grey shadow, the pinkish Belt of Venus, and bright Jupiter. Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto, three of Jupiter's large moons, are also visible.
