COSMIC MESSAGE
The Orion Nebula, visible as a fuzzy patch to the unaided eye, is revealed in intricate detail by the WISE observatory in infrared light. This four-panel mosaic shows a bustling region of recently formed stars, hot gas, and dark dust. The Trapezium star cluster, near the center, powers much of this activity.
