Moons Near Jupiter

COSMIC MESSAGE
On May 20, a nearly full Moon and Jupiter shared this telephoto view. Captured when clouds dimmed the moonlight, the single exposure reveals our Moon's familiar face alongside bright Jupiter and some of its Galilean moons. From left to right, the tiny pinpricks of light near Jupiter are Ganymede, Europa, and Callisto.
