The Sunflower Galaxy, also known as Messier 63, shines 25 million light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici. This spiral galaxy is nearly 100,000 light-years across, similar in size to our own Milky Way. Its bright yellowish core and sweeping blue spiral arms, streaked with cosmic dust, are captured in this telescopic view.
