COSMIC MESSAGE
This cosmic vista spans almost 20 degrees across the constellation Taurus, from the Pleiades to the Hyades star clusters. The compact Pleiades, about 400 light-years away, shines through dusty clouds that scatter blue starlight. The V-shaped Hyades cluster, closer at 150 light-years, appears more spread out.
