The Pale Blue Dot

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Voyager 1 took this iconic image, known as 'The Pale Blue Dot,' on Valentine's Day in 1990. Cruising four billion miles from the Sun, it looked back to create the first-ever family portrait of our Solar System. Earth appears as a single pixel within a sunbeam, just right of center in this reprocessed version. It was part of a 60-frame mosaic that included the Sun and six planets.
