The Kepler-90 Planetary System

The Kepler-90 system, discovered by the Kepler satellite, has eight known planets, the same number as our Solar System. Its G-type star is similar to our Sun. The system includes rocky planets comparable to Earth and large planets similar in size to Jupiter and Saturn. All of Kepler-90's planets orbit closer to their star than Earth orbits the Sun, with the outermost planet taking only about 289 days to complete its orbit.
