COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet SWAN, officially C/2020 F8 (SWAN), was discovered by an astronomy enthusiast looking through images from the SOHO spacecraft. This interplanetary iceberg has just passed inside Earth's orbit. It will make its closest approach to Earth on May 13 and to the Sun on May 27. The comet has already developed an impressive ion tail.
